The following steps will need to be taken before disseminating the questionnaire with your staff:
- Signing an agreement which outlines the scope of the service, and the parties involved
- Preparing the list of contact email address & any other relevant demographic variables of interest (e.g. department details, age, gender, tenure etc).
- Identifying if any paper-based surveys are required
- Agreeing on timelines that will apply to the project e.g. internal communications campaigns, launch of survey, reminder dates, fieldwork close and report delivery
- Creating an internal communication campaign amongst employees indicating that data will be collected by a third party in a confidential way
- Preparing copies and ballot boxes in case of any paper-based surveys
- Checks of departmental splits in order to ensure that identification of respondents is not possible
